There’s a good chance you’re having second thoughts about whether or not you’ll play a bachelorette bridal shower games.
That said, no two bachelorette parties are the same. So the principles that apply to one don’t necessarily apply to the other.
Here, you’ll find answers to the four most frequently asked questions about bachelorette party games to help you figure it all out.
At A Bridal Shower, How Various Games Should Be Played?
The bridal shower length and the bride-to-be’s preferences are the only things that matter when answering this question. So, there is no right or wrong answer.
One game is played for every hour spent. With an average battery life of three hours, a bachelorette party typically includes three games at once.
If you are worried about making bad decisions, talk to the bride-to-be and decide based on her feedback. Everything she says is valid because it’s her bachelorette party.
What Kind Of Games Do You Play At A Bridal Shower?
Interactive and non-interactive, or multiplayer and single-player, are the two most common games played at bachelorette parties.
Guests are encouraged to socialize through interactive activities, often called icebreakers. Classic multiplayer games include the following examples:
- Find the guest
- the ring game
- Crazy wedding outings
Printable versions of non-interactive games, the most common type, generally involve more actual thinking than social interaction. Below are some examples of classic “single-player” games:
- Do you know the bride well?
- He said she said
- Would she prefer
We recommend including an equal number of single-player and multiplayer game modes in the event. This will encourage participants to interact with each other and, at the same time, create a competitive atmosphere.
Do You Have To Play Bridal Shower Games?
From our honest point of view, it is unnecessary to carry out activities for a bachelorette party. There is no secret manual that dictates what to do.
If you don’t, it doesn’t matter. We’ve attended many modern bridal showers without traditional games, and they were just as fun.
The real question is whether you play them or play them. There is no definitive solution for this. Again, it all depends on what your fiancé likes.
Play it if you want a more conventional bachelorette party. What if she was a non-traditional wife? It’s about that.
What Would A Bridal Shower Be Without Games?
If you don’t have any games. Your bachelorette party is expected. While the bride-to-be visits everyone, visitors are expected to socialize.
There is no point in planning anything if you are sure playing is unimportant for that purpose. Consider adding one or two of these activities to your wedding party if you are unsure what to do.

Bridal Shower Games And Icebreakers
If you don’t want to play games at the bachelorette party, keep this in mind: There will be a wide range of ages on your guest list, and many of them will have never met before the party. It’s a great way to get the party started by playing some of these traditional bachelorette party games.
Games are a must at a bachelorette party, but for good reason: they’re so much fun! Guests who don’t know each other can connect through games. Guests of all ages will have a great time participating in these original games in honor of the bride-to-be.
Traditional games for a bachelorette party
You may have seen them before, but there’s a good reason they’re so popular: they’re fun to play!
Toilet paper wedding dress
Create teams of three or more people and divide the group into two or more groups. Each team has a “girlfriend,” and units receive toilet paper. Give each group 15 minutes to design a toilet paper wedding dress for their “bride.” Vote for the most impressive and fun wedding outfits at the end of the indicated time.
clothespin set
To get started, choose a specific keyword like “bride,” “groom,” or “wedding.” Give each guest a clothespin when they arrive at the party.
Then, you can take the clip to anyone who hears someone use the buzzword. At the end of the party, whoever has the most clothespins wins.
Two truths and a lie
Everyone takes turns introducing themselves and sharing three interesting facts: one is a liar and the other is right. When asked which one they think is a lie, the audience writes it down or shouts it out.
When planning the party, make a list of well-known romantic duos that your guests are sure to recognize. These can be historical (like Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn) or fictional (like Fred and Wilma Flintstone) (Antony and Cleopatra).
When guests arrive, place a badge on their back (without showing it to them) with their name. During the party, they must ask if they have a “hidden identity.” After that, you have to find a “better half.” Once everyone has found a partner, the game will end. The first couple to do so will receive a gift.
Know about bridal games.
What is the bride’s favorite color? Like traditional bingo, each card must be unique but share certain standard squares with the rest of the deck.
Create a separate sheet of paper for each item. Place the items in a bag or plate and fold them. The winner must then read aloud each sheet of paper given to them, one by one.
When the speaker says something, a guest with a square that matches the speaker can mark that square.
Alternatively, you can fill a bag with things that make him happy, like nail polish or his favorite magazine. If possible, make it a rule to give the bride a gift instead of a piece of paper.
To allow everyone to participate, include these freebies on the cards. Also, offer prizes to the first person to get five cards in a row and shout “Bingo!”
Bride-to-Be Trivia
Begin by inviting the guest of honor to leave the room, out of sight but within earshot. Ask visitors what they wear, how they do their hair, etc.
Before moving on to more complex questions, such as how the bride and her husband met or her favorite animal. The child who shouts out the correct answers first wins.
What Is The Bride’s Level Of Familiarity With The Groom?
During the pre-shower interview, ask the groom questions about his life and record his answers. Ask the bride to guess what she said while the drums were playing.
A prize is awarded if the answers are the same. It is up to the first guest to answer correctly if the answers do not match. For example, you could ask her what color she prefers.
Who is your favorite band of all time? What is your favorite weekend activity? Where do you want to go for your ideal getaway? In which city did you meet for the first time?
How Old Was She?
Look for photographs of the bride at different stages of her life. Hand out sheets of paper to each guest and tape them to a whiteboard. You can guess her age in each photo as they ate and drank together. For each correct answer, award a prize.
Modern Bridal Shower Games
Traditional bridal shower games aren’t enough when trying to entertain a group of young people made up primarily of the bride’s friends. Instead, it would help if you played fun and a little edgy games.
Toilet Paper and Stick
This game is excellent for those who don’t like a little fun. Assign a captain to each group of guests. Stand against a wall with your legs apart and hold a broomstick or stick between your legs.
Toilet paper rolls can be distributed to other team members. Look no further than the Brighton Savoy Hotel Melbourne, offering wedding packages for your special day.
Team members must cross the room to their team station with a piece of toilet paper between their legs as the game’s goal (no hands).
The winning team first receives a prize at the door and the four rolls of toilet paper at the captain’s bar. It’s hilarious and gives fantastic photos.
Groom in His Skivvies
For this game, guests must draw the groom in his underwear, but the drawing pad must always be placed above the artist’s head.
The bride selects her favorite drawing from a group of candidates to win a gift. When was the last time the bride’s mother bought lingerie? Below are some examples of gossip questions the host and bride write on index cards for each participant.
To begin, participants draw a token and are given a specific amount of time (usually between 30 and 60 minutes) to think of a solution to the problem.
A direct question should be avoided at all costs. Once each guest has finished his gossip, the entire group gathers to listen to it.
Pin The Lips On The Groom bridal shower games
To display your donkey photo, purchase and hang a traditional game of “pin the tail on the donkey.” The donkey’s head is covered with a photograph of the groom.
Having a tube of cheap, bright lipstick on hand, blindfolded guests can apply the lipstick, swirl it around, and then kiss the groom on the guest closest to his mouth.
Unique Bridal Shower Games & Activities
You shouldn’t ask the bride’s friends to relax over tea and tell stories if you’re throwing an artsy or weird party for a bride. Instead, find other games and activities to do at the bachelorette party.
Arts and Crafts Activities
Invite your guests to share a favorite dish or memory of the bride on paper and draw or write about it. Ask guests to read or explain their project once it is opened, then ask the bridesmaid to compile the pages into a scrapbook.
Spa Day
For pre-wedding gatherings, spa getaways are becoming increasingly popular. It is common for the bridesmaid to set up a private room at a local spa or throughout the facility.
The maid of honor can pay to make sure everyone is treated fairly. Instead, it is customary for each guest to pay for her therapies and contribute to the bride’s care, and not the other way around.
At-Home Spa Day
Installing a spa at home, even on a tight budget, is an excellent idea. We recommend that you and your bridal party bring your favorite lotions and beauty items from home to the wedding. Set out a large plastic bowl with warm water and plenty of clean, fluffy towels for guests to soak their feet in.
Ensure you have a bottle of nail polish remover, snacks, and relaxing music playing in the background before you begin. As a bridal shower gift, enlist the help of the whole family to purchase a spa gift certificate.
Learn a New Skill bridal shower games
Why not teach your guests to knit, arrange flowers, make jewelry, or paint pottery? They’ll have a great time learning a new skill and walk away with a project or give it to the bride.
If you’re unsure of your teaching skills, check out the full-day group sessions that can be booked for the day at nearby locations. One of my favorites is painting ceramics or taking a group cooking class.
My Favourite Memory bridal shower games
Include a printed card with your invitation asking guests to share their favorite memories of the bride or groom. Each guest stands up to read the card they brought to the opening. There is a mix of humor and sensitivity in these stories. A photo album is a great way to preserve memories of your meeting.
Door Prize
Who doesn’t love receiving a gift, even if your guests aren’t interested in challenging games? Invite your guests to sign a guest book upon arrival, noting their birth dates and wedding anniversaries on the dates of their arrival (if applicable).
A prize is awarded to the guest whose date is closest to the wedding date. Later, the bride’s hostess can record the guests’ birthdays in a birthday book just for her.
